In the frame of a delegation visit of the Chongqing City Management College to IB Headquarters in Frankfurt the Chinese colleagues were informed about the expertise of the Internationaler Bund (IB) in the sectors of geriatric care and logistics. The delegation was headed by a high-ranking party secretary. Further participants of the delegation included the responsible experts for the sectors of geriatric care, logistics and international relations.
The itinerary of the visit comprised the presentation and visit of the IB home for the elderly in Hünstetten and the demonstration of modern nursing equipment with a producer of medical requisites. In addition the audience accepted expert lectures on nursing training, hospital management and logistics.
Highlight of the visit was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the IB, represented by Ms Karola Becker, Member of the Board, and the CCMC represented by Mr. Bo Ren, Party Secretary, outlining the cornerstones of a future cooperation. This contains the development and implementation of joint training and further education programmes as well as the creation of framework conditions for the recognition and certification of programmes and certificates. The Chinese colleagues currently put a special emphasis on expert exchanges in the fields of geriatric care and logistics.
The IB looks back on a long-term successful cooperation with China and is renowned for its reliability and competence. Amongst others the IB advised the Chinese partners in Qingdao with the planning and implementation of a home for the elderly and the training of health care managers and nursing specialists.
